WHOLE BODY BENEFITS OF CBD

CBD BENEFITS THE WHOLE BODY
CBD takes all the best parts of the plant and leaves out the parts we don’t want, leaving only the incredible therapeutic properties, those that help with anxiety and depression, insomnia, and pain. CBD has even been used by people with epilepsy who do not respond to mainstream treatments.
CBD OIL FIGHTS PAIN
Studies have shown that CBD is a promising alternative for pain management associated with a number of conditions: migraines, Multiple Sclerosis, muscle spasms, arthritis, lupus, digestive problems, cancers, and much more. CBD has also shown great potential for alleviating pain related to cancer and cancer treatments, like chemotherapy.
CBD IS NOT PSYCHOACTIVE
Cannabidiol (CBD) may be a relative of THC, but as siblings they couldn’t be more different. Unlike THC, CBD doesn’t have any psychoactive effects when ingested or applied to the skin. In addition to CBD, there are other cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, and more) that have positive health effects in our bodies.
CBD OIL OFFERS RELIEF AND HOPE
CBD has shown promise in helping people who suffer from a variety of cognitive and physical degenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS), and more. CBD is also widely used to help with chronic anxiety, depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
CBD OIL SOOTHES DEPRESSION
CBD has been found to increase levels of ‘happy hormones,’ such as serotonin. These biochemicals promote calmness and work to deactivate compounds responsible for sadness, hopelessness and other symptoms of depression.
FAQs
WHAT IS CBD?
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a promising phytocannabinoid found in hemp. It has been recognized for its benefits on human and animal health and is capable of affecting nearly every biological process. CBD is non-psychoactive and non-toxic.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CBD OIL?
Cannabinoids have been found to act as an antioxidant, exhibiting anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. This can be extremely effective for neurodegenerative or oxidative disorders. You can find information for yourself by searching some of the references listed below. HOW DOES CBD WORK?
Our bodies produce endocannabinoids (known as our Endocannabinoid System, or ECS), while those made outside our bodies are called exogenous cannabinoids. Exogenous cannabinoids, such as CBD, perfectly and naturally supplement existing endocannabinoids in our ECS. Ingesting CBD regularly increases the endocannabinoid levels of anandamide in our bodies; as a result, more anandamide is available to activate the CB1 receptors. Remember, those receptors control psychoactivity (such as anxiety, depression, and compulsive behaviors).
In effect, adding CBD to your ECS is like adding oil to keep your body’s engine running smoothly.
Your Endocannabinoid System is responsible for keeping your body feeling balanced and in a functioning state (homeostasis). The receptors (CB1 & CB2) are like the ignition slot in your vehicle. The endocannabinoids are the keys that fit into this ignition keyhole perfectly and naturally, allowing the engine to turn on and run. CBD works with and nurtures this fantastic system that already exists in our bodies.
WHAT DOSE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Each dose depends on a number of factors, including which oil you are taking and what ails you. There is no empirically right or wrong answer here. For more guidance, please refer to our dosage section below.
The Endocanabanoid System (ECS) uses CBD interchangeably with the natural cannabanoids the body produces. Therefore the effects are fast so if this is your first time it is important to start with a small amount. If you are using it for pain or sleep, take half a dropper (0.5 mL) and see if that works. If you are still feeling a lot of pain or cannot sleep, you may need more. If it worked and you also felt sweaty and/or your heart racing, you need less.
WHICH PRODUCT SHOULD I USE?
The best course of action is to consult a medical professional for a clear recommendation. If you are new to CBD, start with the lowest dosage. Please refer to our product descriptions in the SHOP section.
